New domain, New Style

Heyyy…. bought a new domain rohankamble.com last month but couldn’t find time to put new stuff on the site.

So, Today finally got a chance to do that and here I am writing about my new domain.

Actually, I wanted to have myself a domain of my name and what should be there on it wud be nothing but about me, but when you write about yourself what are the things that come into your mind? Your name, work ex, what else?

Well, during this period I came across website named about.me and I really have to say that they are doing a superb job of giving you whatever you want to keep your about me definition complete yet attractive.

So even I created an account and shared my experience dere but hey…wait a minute….what about my new domain which I bought last year, well my new domain also have the same detailed experience which i shared it on about.me/rohankamble dats all I wanted to share.

So guys, Thank you so much for reading my blog and keep writing to me.

Rohunz updated

In the last week I have updated Rohunz and added one more page called Rohunz dictionary.

It actually uses the Google Dictionary to get the meaning of a word you typed in the text-field.

So basically i have more worked on the display part…so that you guys can get a WOW! feeling when you visit my site.

Hope you guys love the new page I have added….which says “Rohunz Dictionary“.

 

Soon I will have some posts related to cookies and sessions and some videos related to installing MAC OSX 10.5.7 and upgrading it to 10.6.4

Working on Smart Manager is fun..

Its been a while that I am working on the WordPress plugin “Smart Manager for WP-e-commerce” which is an awesome plugin.

Its an altogether different feeling when you are in the core development team of any product and its been a pleasure that I am a part of it.

When you invest your hours of hard work on logic building techniques, preparing test cases, quality assurance and finally the product is launched and you see that 100’s of all over user are downloading your plugin, Its an awesome feeling.

Actually m writing this post sitting on my desktop PC in office because of which I short of time in expressing my feeling but keep reading I’ll definitely continue posting on the same.

Ext (JavaScript library)

Ext (no official pronunciation) is a JavaScript library for building interactive web applications using techniques such as Ajax, DHTML and DOM scripting.

Originally built as an add-on library extension of YUI by Jack Slocum, Ext includes interoperability with jQuery and Prototype. As of version 1.1, Ext retains no dependencies on external libraries, instead making their use optional.

While working on extjs did some research related to ext js lib and other js libraries like jquery,dojo…. and found that extjs is heavier than jquery and other js framework/toolsets on the webpage ….
